Midtbyens Gymnasium is an educational building, with capacity for 1,320 people between students and faculty that is part of the new urban district of the city of Viborg (Viborg Baneby). Its reddish surround has been designed to blend in with the typical red tiles of the neighborhood and the entire Anegårds Alléen region. However, the classic design of buildings has been turned around and the use of Baguettes Tempio 50 × 50 has achieved the architect’s intention: the design of an avant-garde building that does not break with the environment.
